Who am I?

Moved from Newcastle 1988 and called Sutherland /St George home since. Worked in all levels of Government, Private Tier 1 Organisations, Education Sector and Non-for-Project Charity, and now in private practice as a Mental Health Social Worker

After finishing high school I moved to Sydney from Newcastle to commence my lifes journey with varying Government Departments - Federal - State - Local Government. My career started with law and environmental enforcement, and diplomatic protection, My career digressed to risk management, work health and safety, and business governance, where I worked for leading Tier One organisations in infrastructure including dams (water), transport (rail), and energy (windfarms).  It was during these years that two things happened to me

• Government Policies needed much change for this country and neither Liberal/National nor Labor/Greens were delivering, and

• People - Australians were suffering a silient epidemic of mental health, of which now I am working in

​

In additon to my paid working career, I have also served the community as a Volunteer with the NSW State Emergency Service for 14 years, and was the Local/Regional Controller for the City of Randwick.  During my time with the SES, I witnessed the harshness that mother nature can deal including floods, storms, fire. I saw the good in people and how as a community we can resolve trauma and travisty.

During my career I have also undertaken many Graduate and Post Graduate Studies and believe there is so much more anyone can learn, and in this country we have a golden opportunity to provide the best education for our next generation.  I have completed
